OUR CAR
This car has been a test car for 1999 Safari rally and it was tested and used for reconnaissance by Colin McRae. It also has a rich history in Middle East - it was driven by Mohammed bin Sulayem from middle of the 1999 season to 2001 and got him three consecutive winning titles in Middle Eastern Rally Championship (MERC). After that, he sold it to his rival - Abdullah Al-Qassimi - who then managed to get 2nd place overall in the 2002 season. He then raced it in the first race of the season 2003 - Toyota Qatar International Rally.
We acquired the car from Tommy Anderson as a part of the Focus collection. It was sold in July 2022.
