1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 Gr.A

This car No 014 was built at the end of the 1990 for Timo Salonen and 1991 season. First race was 1991 Rallye Monte Carlo where it finished on 8th place. At the Monte the car was in 1990 spec with Cyclone Turbo engine, pedal box master cylinders inside car, no extra holes in bumper and bonnet, smaller turbo and intercooler a different rear spoiler. For next rally in Australia the car was rebuilt into 1991 spec. Timo Salonen and Voitto Silander finished on 5th place. This car did only 3 rallies Monte, Australia with Salonen and RAC Rally 1992  with Keneth Eriksson and 7th place in finish. In the end of 1992 it did one snow test with Lasse Lampi behind the wheel. Lampi then bought the car and done 100% rebuild and in 2014 he made a show run on Harju stage in Jyväskylä. Part of our collection since 2024.
