2000 Ford Focus WRC V4 FMC

The car with the registration plate V4 FMC was built in 2000; its debut event was the Rally of Portugal, where Carlos Sainz drove it to a third-place podium finish. The next race was in Argentina, where Sainz battled for the lead but crashed out of the competition during Special Stage 11. Sainz secured another third-place finish at the Rally New Zealand. The car was next fielded at Rally Australia, where crews employed tactics to secure a more advantageous starting position; this strategy backfired for Sainz, however, as he was excluded for stopping in a control zone just before the finish of a special stage. Sainz drove the car for the last time at the Madrid Rally Sprint, finishing second. In 2001 and 2002, the car was driven by Rui Madeira, who achieved several successes with it in the Portuguese championship. In 2003, the car moved to Sweden, where Andreas Eriksson drove it in several World and European Championship events. It continued to race in Sweden until 2012. It became part of Tommy Andersson's collection before moving to the Invelt collection in 2019.
